Purpose of processing:

Selection of suitable candidates to fill an open position.

Legal basis for processing:

The processing is necessary for the initiation of the employment relationship pursuant to Art. 88 GDPR in conjunction with Section 26 (1) of the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG). Any storage beyond the current application process or disclosure to third parties requires consent pursuant to Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR, whereby the requirements for consent pursuant to Art. 7 (1)–(4) GDPR are fulfilled.

Categories of recipients:

Internal (in-house divisions (human resources division, superiors, management))

Data transfer to third countries:

No data transfer to third countries is planned.

Storage period for personal data:

Data is deleted after 6 months unless consent has been given for longer retention.

Rights of the data subject:

You have a right to be given access (in accordance with Art. 15 GDPR) to your personal data by the controller as well as a right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), and the restriction of processing (Art. 18(1) GDPR). Furthermore, you can file an objection against processing (Art. 21 GDPR) and you have the right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR).
